Rest Original Painting 18×24 Inch

Description

The red herring of my RED series!  I was painting a series where all colour was stripped away bar one significant thing to convey the message.  But honestly, I got tired & looked at the finished painting realising there was no red, I had forgotten!  I decided to leave it as it was and not add it in.  But what do you think was meant to go in here?

This piece is part of my RED series which began with Resilience and the poppies of West Pentire.  I stripped the colours away to simplistic black and white and left one, striking red item of significance in the scene.  The Full series features Resilience, By Your Side, Thinking of You, The Last Wave, Tidal Connection and Rest.
